Ryedale Folk Museum – Y5 Trip
YEAR 6 TRIP TO RYEDALE FOLK MUSEUM
Our Year 6 children will be visiting the Ryedale Folk Museum in North Yorkshire on Thursday 1st March 2018.
The trip has been organised to enrich our geography project on settlements where will be focusing on human geography. The museum is a rich resource where we will be able to investigate historic settlements, relate them to where we live now and compare it to our chosen country of study: India.
The children will be travelling by coach and will be leaving school at 8.00am prompt, in order to arrive at the museum by 10.30am. The coach will collect the children at 2.00pm for their return journey to school and are expected to arrive back at school no later than 4.30pm.
Your child will require a packed lunch and drink. If your child receives free school meals and you would like us to provide a packed lunch, please complete the information on the consent slip below.
We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £15.50 towards the cost of the trip and this can be handed in to the school office via the class teacher in a sealed envelope. Alternatively, payment can be made via School Money.
