Welcome back! I hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter. This is the start of a very important and sadly final term (for your child), at Riverside.
Please continue to ensure that your child is in school and on time every day, as curriculum work starts at 8.50am. As a class we continue to aim for 100% attendance, this is particularly important at this time of year – in the run up to SATs.
The timetable for this year’s testing is as follows:

|Thursday 15th May||Level 3-5 Mathematics Paper 2 (am)Level 6 Mathematics Paper 1 and 2 (pm)|
It is important ALL children are present on these dates.
ALL children will do Level 3-5 tests.
After our SATs are over we have a very fully packed last half term. During June there is the residential to Waddow Hall (9th June-11th June), There will be a parents meeting on Wednesday 4th June at 4pm, should anyone want any further information, or have any questions. Year 6 will also have the opportunity to take part in bikeability training, a farm visit (as part of our Healthy Schools project) and arts activities linked to the Tour de France.
One of the big events will of course be our end of year production. The children will be performing this on Tuesday 15th July 2014. There will be a dress rehearsal for the whole school at 1.30pm and an evening performance, for parents and family, at 6.30pm. The ‘Leavers Assembly’ is on Friday 18th July 2014 at 2.15pm.
