Welcome to our class!
Here, you will be able to find out about all of the exciting learning that we get up to and anything that you might need to know about upcoming events.
Useful things to know:
Our indoor PE day is Tuesday and our outdoor PE day is Wednesday so please make sure that your child comes to school in PE kit on those days.
Homework goes home on a Friday which consists of weekly spellings, math’s activities and a question of the week. Children will be quizzed on their spellings the following Friday.

The weekly homework has a brief update of what we will be learning each half term, have a look and see how you can carry on the learning at home!
Weekly spellings and homework will be sent home with your child every Friday (the purple book). Homework books are expected to be back in class by Thursday in time for our weekly quiz. If you have any problems accessing homework, please don’t hesitate to contact Ms Hughes or the school office.

English
Our current text in English is ‘Pugs of the Frozen North’ by Philip Reeve.
We will be using this fabulous text for inspiration as we create setting descriptions, character descriptions and diary entries.
